About Dr. Kelly Chapman, DC – El Dorado Hills, CA
DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC

Dr. Kelly Chapman is a California native raised in Cameron Park CA, just up the hill from El Dorado Hills.
He went to Ponderosa High School where he played soccer all 4 years and then continued his soccer career at American River College. However, constant injuries throughout his athletic career caused him to end his Soccer career short which in turn led him into joining the Air Force to honor his Grandfather, a retired Air Force Cornel who is buried at Arlington Cemetery.
As a previous collegiate athlete, he dealt with a lot of injuries that hampered me from competing at 100%. Not being able to keep my body healthy was extremely frustrating which furthermore kept a ceiling on my abilities. This frustration led him into natural health care. With the large scope of practice in which Chiropractors are able to treat I knew this was the right career path for me. As a Chiropractor, he wants to help and assisted not only athletes but weekend warriors, disabled veterans, and any other persons trying to improve their way of life through an active and healthy lifestyle.
Education
Dr. Kelly Chapman graduated with honors from Sacramento State with a degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in Exercise Science. During his time at Sacramento State Dr. Kelly Chapman studied and specialized in exercise biomechanics as well as cardiovascular/V02 max testing. Furthermore, he worked hand in hand with the veteran success center to help new veterans with their transition from service to student.
Dr. Chapman completed his Doctoral studies at Palmer West Chiropractic College in San Jose. During his time at Palmer Dr. Chapman enrolled in multiple adjusting seminars and was a member of the Palmer West Sports council. Furthermore, he played in multiple intermural sports while at Palmer West including the Palmer West soccer team. During his last two quarters at Palmer West, Dr. Chapman interned at PG&E corporate’s on site Health Facility in San Francisco. Here Dr. Chapman worked closely with Dr. Swanson DC and Dr. Misra a double board certified sports physician. At this facility Dr. Chapman treated numerous musculoskeletal injuries while working in a multidisciplinary setting.
Military
Before his educational career Dr. Chapman served 10 years in the United States Air Force at Travis AFB CA as a C17 Loadmaster. During his time in the military Dr. Chapman received two Air Medals and the Air Force Achievement metal. Dr. Chapman was awarded these Air Medals for his direct support in Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Chapman ensured the safe delivery of 2,158 combat ready troops and over one million pounds of warfighting equipment directly to front line battle units. Furthermore, Dr. Chapman was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for his calm demeanor during two in-flight smoke and fumes emergencies which aided in the safe recovery and evacuation of 39 passengers and two C17 Aircrafts.
